I’ve been too busy finishing Christmas presents to post lately, but now it’s Boxing Day and everything is done. In the last 3 weeks I’ve made:
2 hats (Harvest Moon and the Boyfriend Hat)
this cowl (Forest Glade)
a pair of hand warmers (Elin)
a second shopping bag like this one (instructions to follow, when I get around to it)
and 2lb of fudge (no photo because it was eaten before I had the chance).
Thank goodness Christmas comes but once a year.
On the incoming side, I was given some rather lovely pure silk yarn, and an extreme crochet kit.
And yes, that is a normal-sized coffee table that it’s on.
I’ve already been experimenting with the crochet, and once I got used to handling a hook the size of a broomstick (slight exaggeration only) I found I was enjoying it.
Now, what to make with the half kilo of 18-strand yarn that came with it, I wonder?
