Last week I’d knitted half of Santa’s outfit for some Christmassy bunting. Now it’s finished and I really like it. I’m not usually a person who puts Christmas decorations up before mid December, but I’ve made an exception for Santa’s Laundry Line. It’s strung up in front of the fireplace, although it will have to come down when we light the fire. (Which nearly happened this week – we had several inches of snow on Wednesday and the temperature has been just a few degrees above freezing ever since.)
I’ve edged both openings in a contrast colour so that they show up.
The pattern doesn’t include a belt but I felt that one was needed. I tried to find a tiny gold buckle without success. I ended up making one from an ordinary silver-coloured paperclip.
